Kallen
is the interactive editor of Mungo Park, responsible
for overseeing the Live Ex department of Microsoft's adventure
travel publication on the World Wide Web. As an award-winning
travel writer and photographer, he has journeyed to Indonesia,
China, and Central and South America for publications as diverse
as Adventure Travel, Islands, the Washington Post,
and Sierra Club Books. He was director of the TerraQuest
site, which earned the Invision award for Best of Online at

Rocco
is a photographer and media producer who has worked on assignment
in Vietnam, Thailand, and Ecuador. She coordinated CD-ROM development
of the award-winning projects From Alice to Ocean and
Passage to Vietnam. For TerraQuest, she collaborated
on field dispatches from Ecuador and coproduced the "Virtual
Galápagos" Web site. She is based in Sausalito, California,

Nicheli,
field guide and facilitator for the Mali expedition, is the
owner and director of TransAfrica Expeditions based in Lome,
