See the Blues Primer
to learn
more about the birth of the blues

During
November 2002 we traveled The Blues Highway, following Highway
61 from New Orleans to Chicago through the heart of the Mississippi
Delta. This is the homeland of Charllie Patton, Robert Johnson,
Muddy Waters, and many more the motherland of the blues.
I
joined writer Tim Cahill (Hold
the Enlightenment) as digital photographer and field producer
for this journey, which took us to small towns like Belzoni and
Clarksdale, and cities such as Memphis and Chicago, each one a holy
site of the blues. It was all carried live on the Web for Well-Traveled.
