Audio adventures

Not all media is flash, video or blog. Some of it is plain old audio, not unlike the radio broadcasts of the hoary old 20th century. (Podcasts, anyone?)

Here are a few audio clips from our efforts with Microsoft's Mungo Park and Outside Radio. Files are Windows Media Audio (WMA) and should automatically stream and play on demand.

Jean-Michel Cousteau - Live from underwater in Fiji, MSN's Christian Kallen speaks with the scion of the Cousteau family on the future of the world's oceans. (For Mungo Park)

Makah Whale Hunt - The controversy surrounding the planned hunt of a gray whale off the coast of Washington State by Native Americans. (For Outside Radio Network.)

El Nina Kayak - Three young women paddle the Canadian coast from Alaska down the Inside Passage to Vancouver. (For Outside Radio Network.)

Hans Florine - Yosemite's speed climbing champion discusses what it takes to reach the top, fast. (For Outside Radio Network.)

Paul Theroux - The noted travel writer and novelist on the difference between imagined and actual travel. (For Outside Radio Network.)

Karin Muller - An enterprising single woman hits the trail across Vietnam. (For Outside Radio Network.)
