To help migrate old media into new, we joined the online staff of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, a New York Times publication. Responsibilities included creating special sections, updating home page and section fronts on a dynamic basis, and creating photo galleries and special media. For two weeks we traveled the length and breadth of Texas for MSN's First and Best, exploring all seven regions in a series of dispatches with photo galleries, audio clips, videos and more. I was the primary field correspondent and secondary photographer on the follow-up to an earlier journey to Texas for MSNBC.
