The Crossroads, Mississippi Delta

The crossroads has become a mythic landscape ever since Robert Johnson recorded his classic blues in 1936. On a visit with Tim Cahill retracing the Blues Highway, we sought out and found a real crossroads every bit as eerie as the one in the legend — somewhere near Clarksdale, Mississippi.
